When I opened my Italian Cooking School in 2011 and I needed to purchase equipment, I looked no further than Toronto’s Little Italy! My family actually lived in Toronto’s Little Italy in the 1960’s when I was born so; just the street names alone evoke warm, childhood memories for me!

Soon after I opened my business and clients were asking about purchasing their own pasta making equipment, I discovered I did not need to drive to Toronto after all!  Consiglio’s Kitchenware and Gifts, actually ships all over Canada and the U.S!  It’s a one-stop-shop for Expresso makers, pasta machines, Le Creuset, fine cookware and specialty items.

Giovanni and Salvatore Consiglio, father, and son of Sicilian origin opened the store in 1975 at Jane and Sheppard in Toronto’s Little Italy.  More of a Department Store at the time, they serviced Toronto’s Italian Immigrant population.  The business grew and in 1985 they moved to a larger location at St. Clair and Dufferin. (a stone’s throw from my birth home) In the early 2000’s they decided to specialize in premium European kitchenware and cookware. They now have one of the largest selections of pasta making and espresso related equipment for homes… as well as everything you need to make tomato sauce and homemade sausage!

In 2007, son and grandson John Consiglio, started the E-commerce division and has never looked back! They offer great service, information, and shipping directly to your home.  Their most recent move to 41 Horner Avenue in Etobicoke has a large warehouse and retail store to facilitate their large e-commerce business.

And this is where you will find “Natalina’s Kitchen; Bringing homemade back! “, our recently, self-published cookbook. (As I write this, we are already thinking about our next edition)

We are thrilled to be working with a multi-generational, family business that has roots in the Italian Canadian neighborhood that many new Italian Canadians called their first home (including my parents)!

Consiglio’s knows the Italian kitchen and we know Italian Food Culture, so naturally, we are a good fit!  Check out their website here: www.consiglioskitchenware.com  (F.Y.I. Free shipping over 69.99) Tell them Natalina sent you, and happy shopping!

Ciao for now, Natalina
